Welcome to St Peter’s Church, West Green. We are an inclusive Church of England parish close to the heart of Crawley. We aim to follow Jesus in loving God and loving others by offering prayer and care for all those who live in our parish and beyond.
We are a relatively small church but with a big heart as we seek to help people who live in challenging circumstances, both close to home and further afield. Our style of worship is traditionally Anglican celebrating the majesty and mystery of a loving God. It is therefore centred on the celebration of the Eucharist (also known as Holy Communion or the Mass
Worship expresses our love and praise for God for all the good things that He has done and continues to do for us. It gives us the chance to find out more about the nature and ways of God through scripture in readings from the Bible and gives us the opportunity to intercede (pray) for the needs of the world and each other. Our principle act of worship follows Jesus’ command to ‘Do this in remembrance of me’ and nourishes us with the Bread of Life given to us in the Eucharist (Holy Communion).
